Carla Brooks Gantz, RDH

Carla is a practicing dental hygiene clinician.  She began her career in dentistry in 1980 as a dental assistant.  In 1996 she graduated from Western Kentucky University with an associate degree in dental hygiene and the class “congeniality” award and “Outstanding Student Award”.     She is an active ADHA member and holds the office of 1^st Vice President with KDHA, 2006 President of Bowling Green’s Networking Women, member of ABWA, and a member with American Academy of Dental Hygiene, Inc. and a member of Rolling Thunder. She works with Dr. William H. Funk, in Bowling Green, KY website: www.bgsmiledesign.com.   

She has completed post graduate work at institute such Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and JP Consultants of the Las Vegas Institute, Mastery, Leadership and Hygiene Department Success.

 Carla lives in Glasgow, KY with her husband Jerry on Barren River Lake. They have no children, but one dog (it’s all about Eich) he was the dog shown with Carla on the Cover of March 2005 RDH magazine They do have 2 Great Nephews and 1 Great Niece.  She encourages email correspondence and can be contacted at dook@scrtc.com.
